DIY Candy Corn Sugar Scrub

DIY Candy Corn Sugar Scrub

TREAT your face & body to a beautiful glow with this DIY Candy Corn Sugar Scrub Recipe! Relax and enjoy the sweet aromatics all the while giving your skin some much needed attention in this cooler weather. This is perfect for a warm candlelit bath on a chilly night! Check out the super easy recipe below. Most items you probably already have in your pantry!

What You’ll Need:

  • 3 cups White Sugar
  • 1 Cup Pure Olive or Grape Seed Oil
  • Essential Oil of choice (Skin Safe) – for a *Candy Corn* type scent use a Marshmallow or Butter scent
  • 1 oz of unscented Baby Wash or Unscented Face/Body Wash
  • Red and Yellow Food Coloring
  • Nice glass container with Lid

Make It:

  • In a large bowl mix sugar, oil, scent, and soap until well combined – if mixture seems to *thin* add an additional tablespoon of sugar
  • Separate mixture equally into 3 small bowls
  • Add a few drops of yellow color to one of the bowls and mix until you reach the desired yellow color
  • Add a couple drops of each red and yellow food color to another bowl and mix until you reach a nice orange color
  • Keep the last bowl plain white
  • Begin layering your sugar scrub one color at a time in the glass container mimicking the colors of candy corn
(Depending on the size of your container, you might not use all of the sugar scrub – keep the room you’re working with in mind when layering)

Use It:

  • Slough over face & body, and work into your skin using your hands
  • Wash off with warm water
  • Enjoy!

Have fun with this one, its great for gift giving!
